I liked the book The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight by R.L. Stine because Stanley has to live with his grandparents, Linzy says the Scarecrow is a fake, and the Scarecrow dies. First, Stanley has to live withe his grandparents. He lives with them because his parents died in a car accident. Second, Linzy says the Scarecrow is a myth. She scares Stanley and then she is taken by the scarecrow. Finally, the Scarecrow dies. Stanley's grandma burns the barn the scarecrow is hiding in down. Linzy is all right.
