I liked the novel Hatchet by Gary Paulsen because, Brian's plane crashes, he finds shelter, and he gets rescued. First, Brian's plane crashes. Once the plane crashes he had to swim to shore. I kind of feel bad for him, because he is alone. Second, he finds shelter. A couple days after the crash Brian finds a log, and then makes it shelter. Then he finds out a skunk lives in front of his shelter. Finally, he gets rescued. He finds a survival kit in the plane, and he ends up using it. He uses it for about a day then gets rescued.
