I like Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen First he never gets rescued Second he makes survival tools Finally he gets rescued after all. First , he never gets rescued. In the first novel Hatchet he ends up getting rescued, but in Brian's Winter he never gets rescued.I think it's cool that he never got rescued so he could learn how to survive in the cold season of winter.Second,he makes survival tools.He makes snow shoes,and a bigger bow ad arrow to take down a bear.The bigger arrow is made to go throw the bears fat.Finally,he gets rescued after all.He finds a cabin of some sort and the people that live in it takes him in.
