I love the novel Brian's Song by William Blinn because the fact Gale and Brian have different skin colors they get along, they are the starting back field, and Brian is diagnosed with cancer. First, Gale and Brian have different skin colors they get along.It ends that Gale and Brian have to room together, and the bond. After a while they become really good friends. Second, they are the starting back field for the one and only Chicago Bears. Gale and Brian are fighting for starting running back, but Halas tells them Brian will be starting full back. Gale and Brain were a dominating team then the unthinkable had happened. Finally, Brian is diagnosed with cancer. Halas told Gale the bad news ten Gale had told the rest of the team they had played the game for Brian. Brian eventually dies I guess every true story ends in death.
